Wrekin Housing Award HJS with New Contracts
HJS have recently been awarded a 10 year install and maintenance contract with Wrekin Housing. The contract is to cover Door Entry, Access Control, Security Doors and Warden Call. The contract will be serviced by our in-house Door Entry and Warden Call engineers on a 24/7 basis. Working closely with Wrekin Housing to not only maintain their portfolio but introduce new innovations and technology to help improve the existing stock.
HJS Succesful in New Awarded Dudley MBC Contract
HJS have been awarded a 3 year and 2 year contract for installation and maintenance of Aerials, CCTV Systems, Door Entry Systems, Fire Alarms, Smoke Ventilation Systems, Social Alarm Systems, Warden Call, Security Doors, Roof Fans (to high rise blocks), Lightening Conductors, Photovoltic and Solar Thermal Systems, Laundry Equipment, Cold Water Pressure Boosters, Closemats, Automated Car Park Barriers, Automatic Door Openers, Dualcom, Dry Rises and Air Conditioning.
The contract required a company to have the skills and expertise across all departments to fulfil the strongest criteria and standards required by Dudley MBC. This was a project perfectly matched for HJS who were able to undertake all aspects of work involved in the different departments and were able to offer a complete solution.
Rydon Group Appoint HJS for a Mental Health Facility Refurbishment
Rydon Group (Maintenance) utilised the expertise of HJS to undertake a full refurbishment of a Mental Health Facility which included building work, plumbing services and electrical services. The project had to be completed to a high standard, on a tight deadline and within budget which HJS were able to deliver and this has led to Rydon Group approaching HJS for further development work on other Mental Health sites.
Harrold-Jones Provide Ward Upgrades at Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Super Hospital
Throughout the latter half of 2013 through to the present HJS carried out the total refurbishment of various wards and departments at the old Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for the NHS Trust. This was to facilitate the requirement for extra care spaces needed following the expansion of NHS services in Birmingham.
The projects were undertaken not only directly to the NHS, but also after partnering alongside Balfour Beatty we worked closely with Cofely GDF SUEZ UK one of Europe's largest facilities management companies.
These numerous projects were within Birmingham's new Queen Elizabeth super hospital working closely with staff in various departments to provide a totally professional service in what is one of the UK's busiest NHS hospital sites. Consideration was given to the working environment and our fully trained workforce were complemented on their courteous demeanour. All HJS workforce have extensive experience working in these constantly changing and often challenging environments.
Following the past nine months of continual and extensive support HJS have supplied to both Cofely UK and direct to the NHS estates team at the QE Hospital and we are proud to hold preferred contractor status.
HJS Install a Video Concierge Door Entry System for WATMOS TMO
HJS have installed a GDX Video Door Entry Concierge into twelve high rise blocks of flats for WATMOS Housing. The project at Burrowes Street TMO involved a complete replacement of existing door entry system to a state of the art GDX Video Concierge with control of the blocks either in a stand alone mode or via the cental office in the tower block. HJS were selected based on their expertise of door entry system installations and previous high quality security works undertaken with WATMOS. The works were completed over a three month period with minimal disruption to the tenants. HJS attended a meeting with all the tenants where the system and installation were discussed and this proved beneficial to the smooth installation which also included a wireless connection to a remote gated site with access control.
HJS have already installed the CCTV control room at the site which now interfaces with the door entry.
HJS Work Alongside Sanctuary Housing to Install Door Entry and Access Control Systems
HJS were awarded the maintenance contract for door entry and access control for the Midlands area on all of Sanctuary Housing Group's properties. The contract is a long-term award and covers both reactive and preventative maintenance, including annual inspections of Sanctuary's door entry sites.
Working on a 24 / 7 call out 365 days a year, HJS are monitored via KPI's set by Sanctuary to meet the high standard required of the contract.
As a partnering contract HJS also attend meetings with Sanctuary surveyors to discuss new projects where they can utilise their own extensive knowledge of the security industry to facilitate any potential upgrades.
Harrold-Jones Improve Rotary International UK Headquarters
In 2011 - 2012 HJS carried out and completed a major modernisation project to the first and second floors of the world renowned charitable organisation Rotary Internationals UK head quarters building. We supplied fully fitted on site detached temporary office accommodation to facilitate the continued operational status of the organisation whilst our staff transformed the original 1960's office building into modern open plan work spaces executive offices, multi function seminar rooms and modern spacious toilet and wash room facilities. The extensive project was complete within the period available and on the projected budget.
