Nurse Call Overview
HJS were chosen by the Wandsworth Group to install and commission an IPIN Nurse Call system within the newly built Queen Elizabeth Super Hospital in Birmingham.
IPIN is the latest development in nurse call and communications technology and is a fully IP based system from source to bed level, ensuring fast response to patients needs and flexibility to hospital and staff. Being on IP based system HJS installed a structured cabling system which is future proofed for further expansion with flexibility and reliability, providing the ability to be integrated with other disciplines such as CCTV, door access, paging and DECT phone technology.
The system allows for remote faulty diagnostics from any location, significantly reducing down time.
HJS allocated a senior member of staff to project manage the installation team over a 3 year period, the project had strict time constraints but was delivered to an extremely high standard on time.
