Our History

Harrold-Jones Services was originally formed March 1979 as Allhands Limited trading as HJS.

The Company is proud of the fact that many of our employees have been with us for many years enabling us to utilise our vast experience to meet clients’ needs and requirements.

HJS is an equal opportunities employer and is committed to operate apprentice training schemes in various trades to benefit both ourselves and our clients. All HJS staff undergo regular training to remain up to date with changes and current regulations. As an organisation, we are certified to ISO9001, ISO14001, ECA, NICEIC, Constructionline, CHAS and JIB.

Our Company provides a nationwide service, with contracts both locally and throughout Great Britain. Our aim is to develop long-standing relationships with our clients, we feel this enables us to not only add value to our contracts but also to fully understand the need to continually improve. Our accountability is to our clients to ensure we exceed the service levels they demand.

HJS’s business strategy is to build partnerships and develop supply chains with quality manufacturers and service providers. This approach enables us to build on our well-established client base, which includes Local Authorities, NHS Primary Care Trusts, Housing Associations, Universities, Colleges, Schools, Building Contractors, Consultant Engineers and Architects.

Every project is evaluated by our experienced management team to meet the specific needs required. We will provide a dedicated Contract Manager together with our highly trained operatives who can manage a seamless integration to improve efficiency, productivity and completion within project dates.
